Responsabilities:

 

- Organise the project resources, budgets, and goals in conjunction with the customer.

- Detailed planning and control of the project, including customer and supplier stakeholders. 

- Organise launch, management and steering meetings and project reviews with the customer and other stakeholders

- Provide timely progress and risk management reporting relating to project scope, planning, quality, cost and delivery.

- Guide and manage groups of suppliers.

- Continuous improvement and problem resolution management.

- Trace the assumptions, risks, and baselines of the project.

- Communication with internal project members, even if not on the same site or using the same language, and with external stakeholders affected by the project outcome.

- Be aware of the contract limits and detect new business potentials.

 

Profile:

 

- Engineering degree

- English, French and preferably Dutch language, spoken and written, in business environment (documentation, presentation). Any other language capability is a plus.

- Project management experience (junior profile – four years, senior profile – ten years with a PMP qualification). Knowledge of good practices, e.g. PMP. This must be within an industry that has a strong formal culture of quality processes. Preferably this should include experience of managing projects within a safety environment (SIL levels, not EHS), and where infrastructure is complex, expensive and maintainable.  The senior role will be expected to have more relevant experience.

- Exposure to international environment and other cultures is a plus, as is experience of management within public infrastructure projects. The senior role would be expected to have this skill.

- Experience of railway signalling is a great advantage, as is experience of ERTMS projects (state whether rolling stock or infrastructure), and participation within railway working groups. Senior role must have signalling or ERTMS experience.

- Senior role: Has experience in training and setting up training programs. A training qualification is a plus.

- Excellent command of office software, ERP, and communication tools
