Instrumentation Engineer - Louvain

Description

Function :

·         Proficiency in temperature, pressure, level, and flow measurement techniques.

·         Familiarity with various types of control valves and their calculation methodologies.

·         Understanding of different TOR valve variants.

·         Hands-on experience with instrumentation devices from prominent brands like Endress & Hauser, Vega, Emerson, Siemens, ABB, Krohne, Yokogawa, Pepperl & Fuchs, IFM, among others.

·         Exposure to fieldbuses such as Profibus PA, Foundation Fieldbus, or similar protocols is advantageous.

·         Knowledge and practical background in electrical systems, alongside proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLC), distributed control systems (DCS), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, will be beneficial.

·         Collaborative team player capable of contributing effectively within a team environment.

·         Proficient in generating various technical documents including input/output lists, instrument lists, technical specifications, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), assembly diagrams, device layout drawings, and cable lists.

·         Participating in supplier consultations, offer comparisons, order tracking, and factory acceptance testing before shipment.

·         Overseeing on-site instrument and valve assembly as a supervisor, and involvement in plant commissioning activities both domestically and internationally.

Profile :

·         Master's degree in Engineering with specialization in Civil Works, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), and Automation

·         Several years of relevant experience in engineering or industrial settings, preferably within agro-industrial sectors such as sugar, vegetable oils, biofuels, agrochemicals, or biomass.

·         Minimum of two years of hands-on involvement in the responsibilities outlined in the "Key Responsibilities" section above.

·         Proficiency in both French and English (minimum C1 level).

·         Highly organized with exceptional planning and prioritization abilities.

·         Self-directed and capable of working autonomously.

·         Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration within teams.

·         Demonstrated passion for the industrial sector and its challenges.
