Logistics – Warehousing Superintendent



Role :

·         Safety: Manage safety (respect of existing rules, incidents reports to highlight risks) in own responsibility area, with very low acceptance of risk. Organize with concerned departments interventions for fixing Safety concerns. Supervise safety and environment standards.

·         Customer focus: Ensure the availability of the requested products in time, in customer quality specifications and with the optimum efficiency. Optimize sequencing, development, and activity planning to reach and exceed customer needs and expectations. First level quality issues management (contention and correction)

·         Teamwork : Organize daily issues solving with other departments. Build and maintain a strong teamwork, a high motivation and ownership with excellent communication. Proactive communication of ideas and improvement actions. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships in and out of the department. Capable of working well with others in the team and cross-functionally.

·         Excellence: Detect deviations, anticipate issues, identify the root-causes, define/ apply appropriate action and measure the progress, to reach and exceed the main targets. Provide leadership and direction to employees, to influence positively their behavior, to continuously improve their know-how and knowledge and to reinforce the message of ownership and responsibility. Develop best practices, routines and develop people and talents.

·         Trust: Establish and maintain a trustful work-environment in and out of the department. Displaying high ethical standards and supports Company policies and practices in all work activities and understands the impact of violating these on an organization, self, and others




·         Degree in engineering with option in Logistics Management

·         3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role, in a manufacturing environment or Logistics provider is required

·         Effective ability to lead, develop and direct people

·         Excellent analytical skills

·         Lean mindset and knowledge (VSM Analysis/ KAYSEN Meeting…)

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English French and German is an asset

·         Knowledge of basics in logistics, planning, inventory, quality and process control,

·         Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

·         Self-motivated and proactive at completing tasks in a timely manner

·         Certification APICS is appreciated
